Hello, my name is Lissette Castillo, I’m 25 years old, I live in Higüey, I study modern languages at UASD and more of my time I spend studying, reading interesting books and researching information on the internet, however, I’m a sympathetic girl, who like to know new people, different places and culture, my hobby is swimming, when I feel stressed I usually go to the beach and I relaxing, in my free time, I also like to going out with my family and friends, it’s really nice to be with them. I dislike monotony and this is the reason because I try to do new things every day.
About Unit 3: The Bold and the Bashful
The Bold and the Bashful The content of this unit reminded me of a time I was considered shy and introverted. I also particularly remember being misattributed of having an aloof personality by many of my classmates in middle school and high school. However, later I understood this was simply because I did not share most interests or hobbies with them; therefore, while it might sound a bit condescending , I just did not make any efforts to be on their good side, or seek for their friendship as I found it pointless. Nonetheless, I did get to build great friendships with a few kindred souls along my formative years with whom, to this date, I feel comfortable and content around and can talk about pretty much everything.
