Introducing Me
Hello,
My name is Jenny Calderón. I was
born on June 26th, 1995, in Santiago de los Caballeros. Three years ago I was forced to
move here in order to finish my Degree, which has been one of the most character-building experiences I’ve had. During this time, I’ve worked
as interpreter, and English teacher. The latter is my current job; nevertheless, I’m still on a quest to discovering my ideal occupation.
In regards to my personal beliefs
and hobbies, I have been a Christian for 10 years now, and attend church
regularly. Music is also an essential part of my life as I’ve been singing and
writing songs since I was fifteen. My favorite genres are alternative music (Latin),
jazz, bossa nova, bolero, and merengue. I love reading novels, and Christian-fiction.
My favorite book is actually a trilogy called Mark of the Lion by Francine Rivers. I love Italian food, sushi,
and coffee. All types of dessert are welcomed too. I’ve travelled to Argentina and
Canada for vacation, and wish to know many other countries (budget-willing).
I’m looking forward to learning
new things in this course as we socialize the contents, and also share
experiences.
Cheers!
I like to read you...
