My Introduction







       MY INTRODUCTION


Hello! My name is Nataly Gonzalez, I´m thirty-one
years old, I´m a Sergeant of the Army, in Dominican Republic. I´m studying a Degree of Modern Languages Mention English, at the  UASD
University; and currently I´m working in Ministerio de Defensa, FF.AA.

My spectatives in this subject is learning new methods to write a formal letter, discovering the infined world of sophisticated word, with their several form, with which we can use in a speech, as a fluent professional.

I consider myself as a cheer, intelligent and cute person, and I like the ice cream and pizza. My plans for not too distant future, is traveling to another country where they have the English as firth language; a place where I could increase my knowledges; a country like Canada it would be a great idea. I wish I could life there since already. Thanks!

The Tipping Point According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, a tipping point is " the critical point in a situation, process, or system beyond which a significant and often unstoppable effect or change takes place ". About Unit 3: The Bold and the Bashful

The Bold and the Bashful         The content of this unit reminded me of a time I was considered shy and introverted. I also particularly remember being  misattributed  of having an  aloof  personality by many of my classmates in middle school and high school. However, later I understood this was simply because I did not share most interests or hobbies with them; therefore, while it might sound a bit  condescending , I just did not make any efforts to be on their good side, or seek for their friendship as I found it pointless. Nonetheless, I did get to build great friendships with a few  kindred souls  along my formative years with whom, to this date, I feel comfortable and content around and can talk about pretty much everything. Unit 6: Spiritual Renewal

Spiritual renewal refers to practices or intends to get closer to the divine practices including fasting, praying, meditating, among others. This is not a new practice, it has been among us during centuries. All religions seek spiritual renewal, but their motivations are not always the same. For example, in fasting, we find that some religions do it to get spiritual discipline (episcopalianism), some others to get away from materialism (judaism), and others do it do to preserve their ancient traditions.It does not matter the reason why we seek to be renewed spiritually, what matters is that we all have the internal need to seek it.
