Unit 5 Feng Shui: Ancient Wisdom Travels West.

This unit is about Feng Shui, which according to the book Northstar Listening and Speaking third edition, written by Sherry Preiss, basically means that to the west (America and Europe) are coming ancient Chinese customs, those customs were only "Chinese  people's customs", however now they are being implemented and accepted in other parts of the world, such as Europe, Canada, the United States, and Latin America.


In my personal opinion, this is a good topic which I did not have so much knowledge about, but I really enjoyed reading about it. I think this customs will be applied depending on the type of person, what that person believes, and even his or her personality. Personally, I do not have a way or rule for organizing things at home, I just try to put them in the way they look better and seem more comfortable to me.

The Tipping Point According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, a tipping point is " the critical point in a situation, process, or system beyond which a significant and often unstoppable effect or change takes place ". Unit 6: Spiritual Renewal

Spiritual renewal refers to practices or intends to get closer to the divine practices including fasting, praying, meditating, among others. This is not a new practice, it has been among us during centuries. All religions seek spiritual renewal, but their motivations are not always the same.
