The Bold and the Bashful
The Bold and the Bashful is the topic of the unit three, it is about shy and not shy person, on the fallowing paragraph I will give some explanations about what bold and bashful mean.
On the other hand Bold means :
Bashful means shy or timid. ... Bashful and shy are similar in meaning, but not quite identical. Bashful often describes people who are shy but friendly. In fact, being bashful is sometimes seen as an endearing quality.
On the other hand Bold means :
-showing a willingness to take risks; confident and courageous.
-having a strong, vivid, or clear appearance.
This is an example of the word Bold in a sentence:
Politicians tried to dress up the bill as a bold new strategy for combating poverty.
So if you want to be bold and unstoppable, here are some ways to kick start your momentum.
- Pretend you're already bold
- Make the first move
- Do something unpredictable.
- Ask for what you want.
- Take risks.
Being Bashful is not a good idea 💡 because shy people are less popular, they have low self esteem, they make less money, they have fewer leadership skills, they also are more likely to be depressed.
However bold people are not shy, they are not tense or nervous when they are with people they don’t know well, it is not difficult for them ask other people for information, they are never uncomfortable at parties and other social gatherings.
I found this unit very Interesting because it teach us the pros and cons of being bold and bashful.
