Unit 5 Feng Shui



Feng Shui


When I first heard about this unit it was really weird to me. I was unfamiliar with this topic, but to be honest, when I started reading the unit, it was really good, and I realized that we have used Feng Shui in many ways. Feng Shui is about feeling comfortable, happy and relax. Feeling good in general.

According to the book, this is an ancient Chinese wisdom, and it help us to create harmony in our house, office, buildings etc. Basically, if you have a good Feng Shui at home or wherever you want to have it, that will help you to have a positive reaction (positive energy). Personally, I have found this unit really important because I have learned things that I didn’t know before.  We all should try Feng Shui because it stills phenomenal.

    I agree with you, Feng Shui is not one of those topics we know a lot about, rather it is something we find weird at the first time we hear the words "Feng Shui"; however it is interesting to read and learn about those Chinese customs.

The Tipping Point

The Tipping Point According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, a tipping point is " the critical point in a situation, process, or system beyond which a significant and often unstoppable effect or change takes place ". Unit 6: Spiritual Renewal

Spiritual renewal refers to practices or intends to get closer to the divine practices including fasting, praying, meditating, among others. This is not a new practice, it has been among us during centuries. All religions seek spiritual renewal, but their motivations are not always the same. For example, in fasting, we find that some religions do it to get spiritual discipline (episcopalianism), some others to get away from materialism (judaism), and others do it do to preserve their ancient traditions.It does not matter the reason why we seek to be renewed spiritually, what matters is that we all have the internal need to seek it.
