Nowadays, technology has many ways in which employers can virtually monitor all their workers based on the different types of communications in the workplace, it could be posible using computers and video cameras. In most of the cases, workers may feel that this monitoring is an invasion of privacy, but it is generally protected by the law. Moreover, employers implement surveillance using electronic help, it may include monitoring
of workers calls, conversations and even voicemail messages ( Ilegal things in Dominican Republic) to monitor their workers and their business operations. In general, employers can monitor
phone calls made and received in the workplace, but there are legal limits and steps that they need to follow. However, several countries in all over the world limit the circumstances under which employers may
require this type of testing and the methods it can use to perform it because it needs to agree with the laws, if there is a violation of their rights, you could go to jail.

EliminarLately employers have the right to monitor everything inside their companies, but personally I think they should not have access to employees’ personal cellphone calls and emails.
